Apotropaic Reflection

Some final pieces for my show. I tried to take advantage of my initial laziness concerning this painted skull. Because I'd previously only painted half and flipped it in Photoshop, I attempted to build a box and insert a mirror at 90 degrees to reflect the image. As with every first attempt I learnt a lot, but the final piece has given me food for thought concerning future work and hopeful improvement. Maybe I'll move into the coffin industry.

This is shaping up to be the greatest exhibition since . . . Radio Silence!

Oscar- You've gone cluck cluck crazy.

Either that or you've fallen asleep on your keyboard.

Chosen a nice dress for Thursday?

My skull box was supposed to ward off evil spirits, yet you still turned up!

Thanks to you and patricia for coming along- I really appreciate your support.

Your vector portrait of Popeye is SUPERB.

I like the sound of the mural- any photos?! An mp3 of Oscar's speech? Hope it all came off without incident?

Cheers fella's!

No speech from Oscar- he has a stutter.

Photo's to follow Mattski- hopefully will have some time next week to collect images from the opening and pics of the work.
